Fede, our gentle giant. With his height, standing at over 6 ft. tall you might think this enologist is a former basketball player. You’re wrong, although he does enjoy biking on his down time. A soft-spoken guy, he loves going camping with his family and even makes craft beer every now and then. If you know him well, you may be able to try some ????
Two words to describe her interest in wine; curious and eager.
She is happy to be a part of the vast platform of opportunities which make up Mondodelvino.
She loves cooking, traveling, and enjoying a good glass of wine!
For as long as he can remember he had a passion for grapes as well as a romance with Italian football.
When he’s not striving to make the perfect wine for Mondodelvino, he is helping his home team by scoring goals on the field.
Although originally from Brescia, this girl has both old and new world winemaking experience from Australia, New Zealand, California, and France.
This was all before becoming a part of the Mondodelvino team.
At work she is always coming up with ideas and ways to encourage participation from her colleagues in and outside of work. Outside she does this in the form of cooking and hosting friends on her terrace. During the weekend you can find her by the Garda Lake with her dog, Matisse! ????????????
Far from his beloved Sardinia, Mondodelvino was the perfect fit for him to make use of his interests; innovation and sustainability!
His passions are winemaking, technology, and his Italian region’s culture and traditions.
When Luca is not heading a new research project in the name of wine or sustainability for the Group, it makes sense that his free time is spent in nature. He is a dedicated daddy and his time for his family comes first, while cooking and drinking a good wine is a close second. Last but not least… he is unapologetically science addicted.
Soledad’s winemaking experience stretches from Chile to California before arriving to Italy to work with Mondodelvino.
She is a forever skier, beginner surfer, and completely in love with winemaking.
Meet the people who make Mondodelvino an Italian excellence

Alessio is a numbers guy by day and in the air by night. Is he batman?! No, he is obsessed with calisthenics and has been practicing the sport for around a year.
It doesn’t take much to understand his love for his family as he posts beautiful photos (another hobby) on social media of their trips around Italy.
Can we tag along?!
R O M A G N A DOC. Yes. Romagna 100% Native.
By day she is on the frontline presenting wine as a Brand Ambassador for Poderi dal Nespoli.
By night she is presenting herself at an improvisational school. This is only her second year, but she’s getting the hang of performing without a script.
On the weekends she organizes tastings with a group of wine lovers with one goal: discover native varieties that people may not have heard of.
Time off? She likes to travel around Italy, without a guide of course ???? All improv. ????✈️????

When she’s not in the office, Elisa is a full-time MOM of two wonderful children, Lorenzo and Anita. A lover of sports, she enjoys tightrope walking while juggling children, a home and of course time to herself. She is the “family planner” when it comes to customized trips, recording every moment. “A picture not taken is a lost memory!”
Manu, nickname for Emanuela is heard throughout the offices in Priocca not once, not twice, but maybe even 10-15 times a day 😉
Her role as coordinator goes beyond commercial activities…the only thing she hasn’t helped with is making the wine herself!
The side we know as practical and dependable is a perfect combination with her background in the fine arts, dance to be precise! She studied dance for most of her young adult life and demonstrates this athleticism in horse riding as well
Federica has spent almost half of her life working for Mondodelvino! 15 years to be exact.
As one of our veterans, she is full of knowledge and has an incredible memory for details forgotten by others. ???? She can hold a conversation on just about any topic, as a lover of the literary arts and follower of current affairs. What may surprise some is that she is also a certified lifeguard! Go Fede!
When Giancarlo is not managing events, you might find him in the mountains or at home perfecting his plum cake.
G for Giovanni? No. G for Griller.
Once a year if we’re lucky, Giovanni holds a barbecue at his house, full service including even the view. Montelupo Albese (small village in Langhe area – Piedmont) to be precise. A town who got its name from the wild wolves (lupo in Italian) that used to roam the area. Giovanni is not only a food lover, but in practical is a wine & spirits producer himself. Him and his wife founded their own gin company Wolfrest, a few years ago which sources botanicals from their very own Montelupo – Langhe area.
Note a theme here? Awwooooo… ????????????
After working hours, family comes first (his daughter, especially). And after family, he prides himself on being somewhat of a “handyman,” recovering tables, frames, shelves, etc. This comes in a close tie with his love for super heroes. 😉
On any given day, you may hear her on the phone speaking mandarin with clients overseas. What few people know is that she has spent most of her adolescent and adult life in Italy. So, she also speaks Italian like an Italian, if not better
Our fireball of energy, she rides her bike to work and swims on her time off.
By the pure fact that Vale is originally from Sicily, helps us understand her love for food. Some of her specialties include making pizza by scratch as well as pancakes on the weekend. A perfect night at home? Pizza made by her and her favorite tv series. Wait did we mention her love for PEANUT BUTTER? She accepts crunchy, thanks. ????
As one of our in house AIS sommelier, Valentina is our go to person for questions regarding how to…for all things wine. When she’s not working on the Italian market or running a tasting, you may find her enjoying a slice of pizza, spending time at the beach, or taking photos on her long walks. Of course love of pizza comes first.
